SELF SOOTHING EXERCISE

We don't over-eat because we need to eat. We over-eat because we feel bad. Unhealthy eating is your brain's attempt to get relief from the uncomfortable feelings of craving and emotion.

To help break the cycle, perform the self-soothing exercise to calm the cravings and emotions that are triggering your brain. For best results follow the instructions below. 
 

INSTRUCTIONS

 

  1. Perform the exercise in a quiet place, free from disturbances.
     

  2. Sit upright with your feet flat on the floor, hands on the thighs, palms down.
     

  3. Once situated comfortably, click the video below, follow the on-screen instructions, and you'll be on your way to a relaxed and renewed you—in just five minutes.
